Robin Ashurst - Technical Director

Robin is a time served electrical engineer and accomplished data engineering expert and has worked in the sector for more than 30 years including in-depth, high-level contracts management. In 2002 he formed ASH Projects and has used his vast industry knowledge to create one of the UK's leading providers of IT infrastructure, electrical and network solutions. Robin is regularly engaged on a consultancy basis by corporate and programme management teams and advises on directing projects at high level. His standards for quality and professionalism are what drive the company; Robin encourages exceeding customer expectations at every stage of a project.

Emma Darwin - Business Support Manager

Emma has worked at ASH Projects for more than five years in multiple disciplines; operations support, project co-ordinator; promoted to project manager and has now been re-engaged after a career-break as Business Support Manager. She has also spent time working in New York where she gained valuable experience working in a high-end business environment on various projects across varying disciplines throughout the east coast of America. Emma's team are the nerve centre of the business, they support our internal network and are innovators who seek better ways of working across many work-streams within ASH.

Matthew Brierley - Senior VoIP Specialist - Engineering

After completing a Modern Apprenticeship in Telecoms, Matthew spent five years in both telecoms and data environments. Whilst at ASH, Matthew has established himself as specialist in this role, identifying cost saving measures across all customer programmes, providing quick ROI on all contracts awarded and leading teams on-site to deliver quality installations.

Martin Waddington - Finance Manager

After a successful long-term career in finance within the public sector, Martin sought a change within a fresh and innovative environment. After being recommended to ASH by one of our SME customers, Martin was attracted to our business models and the challenging objectives we set ourselves as a company. Since joining us 3 years ago, he has become a real asset to the team, actively involved in our bidding process and tasked with creating cost efficiency programmes supporting the network of project teams.

James Barron - Project Manager - Major Projects

James completed a HND degree course in Business and Finance before pursuing a career in project management six years ago. He has since worked on a wide range of contracts including PC roll-outs, IT projects and contact centre expansions. James one of our qualified Prince2 practitioners and also looks after all site-based builds e.g.: new stores, re-vamps and expansions supported by his project co-ordinators and administrators.

Charles Crosland - Senior Network Specialist - Engineering

Having joined the company in 2007, Charles has quickly progressed through several areas of the business from providing technical support for IT Rollouts to optimising customer's existing IT Infrastructure. Charles is heavily involved with a wide range of innovative IT solutions and works alongside our customers to deliver the most appropriate solution. After studying Computer Network Engineering at University Charles was keen to put his theoretical knowledge in to practice, coupled with an inquisitive mind he is a strong driving force in any project he undertakes.

Colin Williamson - Project Manager - Rollouts

Specialising in the project management of national multi-site roll-outs, Colin works with industry leaders such as Avery Berkel, Accu-Tech Systems Ltd & IBM. He has completed several prestigious industry qualifications including a Computer Science Diploma through the Cambridge Exam Syndicate and a Software Project Management HND through UNISA (University of South Africa). Colin is currently studying for his Prince2 practitioner exam to consolidate his formal training and looks forward to managing public sector projects on completion. Colin affords his team autonomy to help him exceed customer expectations regularly. He is an asset to the company and is requested time and again by several preferred customers.

Karl Richardson - Senior EPoS Specialist - Engineering

Karl has a wealth of experience in the retail sector and has worked on new build stores, system roll-outs and store refurbishments. He also specialises in configuring building and installing Cisco Switches in live environments. Karl plays a major part in our retail team, offering live support with his team 24/7 on and off site. He has an excellent rapport with customers and helps supports our clients' networks by ensuring the end user and customers' needs are met first time, every time. He is a specialist installer within our RF team.

Kevin Cowdrey - Installations Manager

Kevin has worked in the industry for more than 13 years and is the company's convergence specialist and an expert in saving operational costs and improving efficiency by converging various communications functions into cost-effective solutions. Kevin oversees installations and implements quality management systems across a variety of customer bases for ASH. He is accountable for installation standards and breeds professionalism and quality in all that we deliver.

Alison Ashurst - Managing Director

After working in customer relationship, operations and contracts management for more than 20 years at a wide range of well-known corporate organisations, Alison has been able to foster an exceptionally high standard of customer service throughout ASH and has played a fundamental role in the company's successful growth. A member of the Chartered Management Institute, Alison has also held CCMA membership and is a qualified Prince2 Practitioner with a wealth of programme and contracts management experience. She inspires a highly motivated team with endless enthusiasm for taking customer satisfaction to a higher level on every project we undertake.

Andy Sanderson - IT Consultant

Andy has 30 years knowledge and expertise of IT Systems within the Retail Sector. He joined ASH 3 years ago to support our network of surveyors and has thrived in the supplier environment having come from a customer facing role supporting end-users. He is a key player in Client Management and Customer Education. Andy is also actively supporting our site-based build team and represents customers in high level site meetings and surveys.

Emma Ryan - Technical Surveyor - Customer Education Specialist

Emma has held a Project Support role within ASH - on and off site. Recruited in 2006, Emma has adopted customer cultures and assisted delivering multi-million pound projects with national retailers and contact centres. She is actively involved in Client Management and Customer Education programmes and is often engaged by customers on a 1:1 basis to give feedback to internal teams supporting end-users at the heart of operations.

Tony Felton - Technical Surveyor - Technical Services Specialist

Coming from a technical background, Tony quickly found his feet at ASH in an engineering support role. Latterly he has been engaged as survey team leader with accountability for quality assurance on all reports submitted by his teams. He is a key player in our RF installations and has extensive experience with many of our key contact centre and SME customers. Tony also supports the retail team with site meetings and project support tasks.

Andy, Emma and Tony specialise in 'Project Support' which includes everything from initial site surveys through to client liaison and site meetings. They lead teams of project specific surveyors to ensure all objectives are met and play an integral part in managing product delivery. They are all accomplished Project and Team Managers.
